Luke Cage is going to need to get himself new clothes.
Netflix dropped a teaser trailer today of a scene where Luke Cage manhandles a mob and finds himself on the receiving end of the police. Luke Cage may be indestructible and bulletproof, but his wardrobe isn’t. “I’m about sick of always having to buy new clothes,” he says.
Mike Colter stars as Luke Cage, a former convict with superhuman strength and unbreakable skin who now fights crime on the streets of Harlem. Starring along Colter includes Mahershala Ali (Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes), Alfre Woodard (Mariah Dillard), Simone Missick (Misty Knight), Theo Rossi (Shades), Frank Whaley (Rafael Scarfe) and Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple).
“Luke Cage” premieres on Netflix on Sept. 30. While we’re all waiting for the next month, take another look at the official trailer below.
