“Dragon Ball Super” premieres on Toonami starting Jan. 7

“Dragon Ball” fans, this is for you.

Funimation, Toei Animation, and Adult Swim announced that they will air “Dragon Ball Super” on Adult Swim’s Toonami block, starting Saturday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. central. According to Anime News Network, the 26 episodes of the first season encompass the storylines of the “Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods” and “Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F'” films. The English-dubbed anime’s voice actors will reprise their roles.
