After their triumphant debut in NYC, SXSW, and sold out spring tour in Japan, WagakkiBand will come back to the U.S. for three shows in California. The shows will at Los Angeles on July 12, San Diego on July 14, and San Francisco on July 16.
WagakkiBand will return to the U.S. as part of their “DEEP IMPACT” 1st US Tour. These dates were added after the success of their past two shows back in March. After rocking a big crowd at New York’s Irving Plaza, followed by their SXSW debut, they went back and played a sold out tour in Japan.
With a fusion sound of past and present, these eight rock stars play with a combination of modern rock and traditional Japanese instruments. The Japanese instruments they use include the shamisen, shakuhachi, and koto.
Debuting back in 2013, this band has been dominating the Japanese music scene with their no. 1 hits. Their most viral video, “Senbonzakura,” has garnered over 40 million views and counting!
They also recently came out with their recent single “Valkyrie -Ikusa Otome-.”
