The 9th annual Classic Game Fest will take place this weekend on July 30 – 31 at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas. With over 6,000 retro-gaming fans and attendees from across the U.S., CGF is now one of the biggest retro video game conventions in the country and the single biggest retro gaming event in Texas!
This year, they are expected to include a 45,000 square-foot vendor and event hall to showcase and celebrate classic and retro video games. Free-play arcades and game consoles, gaming tournaments, video game vendors, artists, musical performances, special guests, and much more are planned as well.

All tournaments are free with entry, except for the Super Smash Bros. Melee tournaments ($10 entrance fee). Super Smash Bros. Melee sign ups begin at 10 a.m. One tournament each day!
