“Beauty and the Beast” Trailer is here!

The trailer has arrived for the live-action re-imagining of “Beauty and the Beast” and all we can say is that we’re EVEN more excited! Emma Watson (“Harry Potter”) is Belle, Dan Stevens (“Downton Abbey”) is the Beast and Luke Evans (“The Girl on the Train”) is Gaston.

Synopsis

Belle takes her father’s place as prisoner in the beast’s castle, only to fall in love with her beastly captor  who turns out to be a prince.

It’s nerve-wracking wondering if the live-action adaptation will fulfill the original Disney film that you watched a million times over, but from the newly released trailer, it looks director, Bill Condon has managed to capture the original spirit from set design, music and not overusing CGI (I was really worried about this). Emma Watson is the perfect Belle and we’ve learned that she is not only the bookworm we’ve known her to be, but in this version will be the inventor! Way to go Disney and break gender stereotypes to a whole new generation of young girls who will see the film.

“Beauty and the Beast” hits theaters March 17, 2017. Check out the trailer below.
