Alamo Drafthouse’s Rolling Roadshow, the brilliant minds behind the always popular JAWS on the Water event, is bringing you the most exciting advance screening you may ever go to. In partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures, Rolling Roadshow is bringing ATX an exclusive advance screening of “The Meg” on Sunday, Aug. 5 at 6 PM!

Following the form of the hugely popular “JAWS” events, brave moviegoers will have a chance to screen the film early while floating in the calm waters of Lake Travis off of Volente Beach.
The price of admission buys way more than just a chance to see “The Meg” early. Tickets also grant event attendees access to bonus fun at the Volente Beach Resort! Water slides, activities, you name it! Hungry? Meal Tickets are available for pre-sale (vegetarian options are available). Thirsty? Or maybe needing some liquid courage before swimming with the Megalodon? They’ve got bars on the beach. Bars on the water. House drinks. Beer. Your thirst will be quenched, y’all.
Parking is available on-site and tubes will be provided for you. So leave yours at home!

The event is scheduled to occur, rain or shine, and only in the event of extreme weather will attendees be offered a refund or possible reschedule. Tickets are available at the door until sold out and are only available for credit/debit card purchase. No cash!
Doors open at 6 PM and “The Meg” screening begins at sunset. That gives attendees plenty of time to hang out and settle in before the real fun begins!
