The time has come for us to wrap up our final reminiscing on Float Fest 2018. If you haven’t already read about our experience during this magical weekend, be sure to check out our recaps on the performances we jammed out to here and here!

Float Fest was held at Cool River Ranch on Saturday, July 21 to Sunday, July 22. Over 20 phenomenal bands were included in the lineup, and festival go-ers had the option to cool off by floating on the San Marcos river prior to performances or could even camp on the festival grounds after shows wrapped up each evening.
Bands performed on either the Water Stage or Sun Stage which were in close proximity to each other, allowing us to easily pop over immediately as a set concluded and new one began. There was also no overlap across sets which had us jumping for joy (we always struggle with festival FOMO)!
Carnival rides brought laughter across the grounds and left the sky glowing as the sun went down, while food vendors dished up countless snack and meal options for hungry attendees (our personal favorite on day two was Burro Cheese Kitchen). Bar stands offered refreshing beverages along with festival sponsors that handed out free samples (some of our faves on Sunday were Cascade Whiskey and Cruzan Rum).
Though another hot summer’s day, Float Festers donned their best festival wear, sparkles and all, and danced the heat away. Day two was yet another amazing day and left us both exhausted but wanting more. We already can’t wait for next year!
Check out some of the photos we captured from day two and be sure go take a look at some other photos from day one if you haven’t already.
If you happen to be featured in a photo, give us a shout in the comments and we’ll hook you up with a downloadable version!
