Fantastic Fest 2016: Austin is going from Weird To Peculiar this Sunday

Austin has declared Sunday Sept. 25 “Keep Austin Peculiar Day” in honor of Tim Burton attending Fantastic Fest for the screening of his new film, “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.” A proclamation will be presented to Burton by Austin resident and director Robert Rodriguez.

We can’t think of a more fitting film and time to ‘Keep the Austin Weird’ vibe alive with the quirkiest director we know!

We are so excited to watch the film, starring Eva Green, Asa Butterfield, Allison Janney, Terence Stamp, Rupert Everett, with Judi Dench and Samuel L. Jackson.

Don’t miss the chance to see the film with Tim Burton on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 4:50pm. You can also catch the film on Monday, Sept. 26 at 1:45pm at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar or wait until it hit theaters Sept. 30.

Check out the film’s official Facebook and Twitter for more updates and Tim Burton and remember to “Keep Austin Peculiar” this Sunday!
