William Harries Graham Releases “Jakes” at Cosmic Beer Garden

Indie artist William Harries Graham held his album release show on Saturday, March 30 at Cosmic Coffee + Beer Garden (one of my favorite places in Austin!). From our own beloved Austin, Graham recently released his newest album, “Jakes,” recorded and mixed by platinum, Grammy-award winner Stuart Sullivan at Wire Recording. A second-generation Austin musician, William Harries Graham has been making music since he could walk and though he may be young, Graham has already made strides in the music industry.

Graham was joined on stage by band members Chris Searles (drums),
Bobby Daniel (bass), and Abra Moore (vocals and keys). Graham recently shared with us how he came to know Moore in our recent interview with him and opened up about his own creative process, the creation of “Jakes,” and his hopes for the future. If you haven’t already, be sure to read the full interview here!

It was a perfect Saturday evening to hop on over to Cosmic for a beer and live music. Though a little chillier than us Austinites prefer, the show was thankfully held indoors which quickly filled up with fans, friends, and family of Graham. Good vibes filled the air as Graham began his performance, one that felt so intimate yet powerful, laid back yet full of energy.

The show was unique in that Graham brought up special guests and friends throughout the evening who performed and sang alongside him and the band. These special guests included Jeremy Nail, Amy Cook, Kacy Crowley, Suzanna Choffel, Jon Dee Graham (William’s father), Matt the Electrician, and Bobby Daniel. The dynamic Graham had with each and every guest was cosmic in itself, a testament to his talent and versatility across a multitude of genres. An electrifying evening, Graham’s album release party was one that many will never forget.
