Our travel blogger Abby Cota recently visited Viva Chicken in Charlotte, North Carolina. Stay tuned as she will give us the “The Quick Dish.”
Having recently moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, people kept recommending we check out Viva Chicken, a quick-serve restaurant focusing on Peruvian flavors, with the signature dish being “Pollo alla Brasa” (Peruvian rotisserie chicken).
Review and photos by Abby Cota
One day while out running errands, we decided to give Viva Chicken a try and man did it blow us away. Everything I ordered was amazing (see list below) and at a very reasonable price. The place itself was great too–very hip! They had a cool medley of alternative, pop and techno music playing, everything was super clean and all of their products are eco-friendly and/or biodegradable, YAY!
See the photos below! (To prove how yummy it all was.)
What we ordered:
Me:
– Inca Wrap (vegetarian)
– 1 side of plantains
– 2 alfajores (dessert)
– 1 mint and rosemary limeade
Giray:
– Half a rotisserie chicken
– 1 side of rice with peas and carrots
– 1 side of solterito
– 1 maracuya water
What we paid (total): $31.93
Viva Chicken is located in North Carolina and Utah. If you are in either state, be sure to check their locations: there may be one near you.
